Two methods to create a fan ramp

Small tutorial to save you up to 4 ° very useful for the aquariums of your axolotls!

Necessary :
-6 PC blue led fans (or more in multiples of 2) (you can also take non-luminous fans, but it's less pretty at night)
-2 aquarium led ramps 46 cm (or more depending on the size of your tank) Remember to check their operation before starting this tutorial.
-3 stakes the size of the length of the aquarium (outer edge to outer edge for measuring) of section of 30x45mm (or 30x40mm if you can not find any, as I had to do)
- Screws 25mm long and 3mm or 4mm in diameter
-Plastic clamps
- Galvanized mesh 5x5mm mesh (optional, used to protect the blades on the aquarium side)
-A cutting pliers
-A screwdriver
-Electric dominoes of medium size
-A tape measure, a square and a pencil
-Electric cable (or speakers) two sections

On the outer cleats a line at 1cm from the edge and one in the middle of the central cleat (use the widest side)

Make a mark in the middle of each line
Measure the distance between the two holes on one side of a fan

Draw a perpendicular to the edge of the cleats passing through the center of the two holes made previously.

And transfer it to one of the outer cleats so that the mark in the middle of the cleat corresponds to the middle of the fan and tighten two screws to pre-drill it.

On the central cleat, make a mark 2cm from each edge on each of the two lines obtained

Using the square, make sure that the cleats are aligned

Pre-drill the cleats at each mark on the central cleat and at the intersections on the remaining central cleat

Secure the two down arrow fans starting by attaching them to the two outer brackets.

Then fix a fan arrow upwards at 5 mm from the edge between the bottom cleat and the central cleat by positioning it along the line then the same thing on the other side (place it, make a mark with the screwdriver and pre -drill at each corner).

Then place the two fans arrow up, keeping the widest part facing you.

Measure the space between the two fans in order to place on the third cleat the two remaining fans in the middle of the remaining space.

Then cut the connectors of the fans (you can also fit them into each other but I preferred to assemble everything with electric dominoes because they take up less space).

Strip the wires of about 5mm

Then assemble the red wires together in a domino then the black wires in another, all on the same side then fix the cables to the cleats with plastic clamps (cut the excess of the collar with the wire cutters).
Do not hesitate to use several dominoes and connect them together with a double section electric cable.
Then take the power supply from one of the two led bars, cut the connector for the led bar, strip the two 5 mm cables and connect the red with a domino connected to the other red wires and do the same with the black wire . Do not forget to fix the cables to the cleats with cable ties. Check that the fans are all working properly. Otherwise, check the assembly.

Then position the LED bars against the fans (remove the fastening elements provided) and attach them to the cleat with clamps.

Then cut the connectors of the LED bars and the last power supply and using a domino, connect the red wires together then the black wires. Then connect the LED bars to check their operation otherwise check the connection.

Optional: Creation of protective cages for the fan blades.
With the galvanized mesh, cut squares of 2cm side more than the size of your fans, cut a square of 1cm side in each corner and fold the edges obtained so as to make a square the size of your fan, place these "bells" on your fans so that the edges go up on the fan and secure with hose clamps. Cut off the excess plastic from the hose clamps and your gallery is finished.
